After four selfproclaimed albums and almost a decade since making
the move to music city Matt definetly has seen the ups and downs of the music business. Not only playing in the Nashville
area, but also throughout alot of the U.S. fronting is own band or playing guitar for other artists and bands.
Moving to Nashville for the sole purpose of writing songs Matt
has penned eight independent cuts and has had several major artists consider his material as well. Matt is also in the process
of recording his fifth album which will be available by spring of 2012. The album consists of brand new material written by
matt and will be co-produced by long time producer Dick Mcvey.
Playing live shows has always been a large passion and after a year
of playing mostly local in the Nashville area Matt has reconformed his band and ready to get back to it in 2012. Now going
by the band name of "Matt Walker and Company" because of the people he surrounds himself with. Matt has been playing
and writing music for over 15 years playing fairs, festivals, clubs, casinos, private, and charitable events. His show is
an energetic time piece that stretches back to the rockabilly styles from the 1950’s to today’s best country music
as well as a few original songs and the best party and dance covers in between. " The stage and the music has always
